The Brewers will look to even the series with the Giants this afternoon in the series finale. Milwaukee enters the day with a 13-12 record and are in second place in the NL Central. The Brewers will finish their series with the Giants today and head to St. Louis to face the Cardinals for three games over the weekend. The Brewers are two and a half games back from the Cubs. They have only a game up on third-place Cincinnati. Today they have announced they are activating Tobias Myers from the injured list. This will give them another reliable arm for the rotation. They are looking to make up ground on the Cubs. They also want to widen the gap between themselves and the rest of the division.

Tobias Myers

The Milwaukee Brewers have activated right-hand pitcher Tobias Myers from the 15-day injured list today. Myers has made three starts in Triple-A while rehabbing. He has one loss while pitching for Nashville. In those three starts, he worked a total of 13.1 innings allowing 10 hits, three runs, one home run, four walks, and struck out eight. Myers had a .200 batting average against, a 1.05 WHIP, and a 2.03 ERA during his rehab stint.

Bryan Hudson

The Milwaukee Brewers have optioned left-hand pitcher Bryan Hudson to Triple-A to pitch for the Nashville Sounds. Hudson appeared in 11 games for the Brewers so far this year. He recorded one loss and a 4.15 ERA. Hudson pitched 8.2 innings with nine strikeouts and a 1.85 WHIP.

Brandon Woodruff

The Brewers have moved Woodruff to Triple-A to continue his rehab stint today. He has made two starts so far during his rehab assignments. He has one loss and a 5.87 ERA. His last start was 3.2 innings worth of work. He allowed four hits, two runs, two walks, and struck out five. He continues to work his way back and hopefully is a couple of rehab starts away from joining the Brewers.
