Milwaukee Brewers Roster Transactions | Inside The Diamonds

The Milwaukee Brewers beat the Arizona Diamondbacks yesterday 14-4 in Cactus League play. They have two games remaining against the Colorado Rockies to finish out spring training. They will then shift their focus to opening day back at home when they take on the New York Mets on Thursday, March 28th at 1:10 PM.

RHP – K.C. Hunt

Hunt was assigned today to the Milwaukee Brewers roster before their game with the Colorado Rockies. Last year Hunt pitched 4.1 innings with the Brewers Arizona Complex League team. He appeared in four games finishing with a 4.15 ERA, 1.38 WHIP, five strikeouts, and walked two during his time with the team.

RHP – Chase Costello

Costello was assigned to the Brewers roster before the game with the Rockies today. Last year Costello spent the year pitching for the Carolina Mudcats in the Carolina League for the Single-A Brewer affiliates. He appeared in 28 games, throwing 64.2 innings, with a 9-4 record, one save, three holds, 53 strikeouts, 20 walks, a 3.76 ERA, and a 1.11 WHIP on the year.

RHP – Jeferson Figueroa

Figueroa was assigned to the Brewers roster today before the team took on the Colorado Rockies in the Cactus League game. Last year he pitched all year for the Single-A Carolina Mudcats all year. He appeared in 27 games, throwing 45 innings, with a 2-1 record, one save, two holds, 51 strikeouts, 29 walks, 2.80 ERA, and a 1.33 WHIP on the year.
