Miami Marlins & Arizona Diamondbacks Make A Trade

The Miami Marlins have not had a season that they expected and today they traded a bullpen arm away to the Arizona Diamondbacks. The Diamondbacks who are the defending National League Champions haven’t exactly had the season they expected to have but are still in the race for the National League Wild Card so they have decided to add and today they did so by bringing in LHP A.J. Puk in exchange for 1B/3B Deyvison De Los Santos and outfielder Andrew Pintar.

Trade By The Numbers

This season due to injuries the Marlins tried to make him a starter but that was a failed experiment as he made four starts, then he reverted back to the bullpen where he made 28 appearances. Overall he’s appeared in 32 games going 4-8 with a 4.30 ERA, a 3.62 FIP, a 1.34 WHIP, a 4.7 BB/9, and a 9.2 K/9 in 44 innings.
