Miami Marlins Are in Shambles

The Miami Marlins tied with the Philadelphia Phillies today in Grapefruit League play 3-3. Tomorrow they take on the New York Mets and haven’t announced a starter for that game yet and that’s partly because their starting rotation is a mess right now. Sandy Alcantara is out for the season while recovering from Tommy John surgery, Eury Perez is dealing with elbow soreness despite leaving his last start with a fingernail issue, Edward Cabrera is dealing with shoulder impingement, Braxton Garrett has shoulder soreness which is delaying his throwing program. Opening Day is only 12 days away and with all those injuries what could their starting rotation look like? Jesus Luzardo is a lock to be the #1 starter, the other options for 2-5 are Ryan Weathers, Trevor Rogers, Sixto Sanchez, Devin Smeltzer, A.J. Puk, Max Meyer who is their third-ranked prospect, George Soriano, or Patrick Monteverde.
