Los Angeles Dodgers Roster Moves 5/6/25

The Dodgers enter play today with a 24-11 record sitting in first place in the NL West. The Dodgers are winners of eight of their last 10 games. After this three-game series with the Marlins is wrapped up the Dodgers head to Arizona. They will play the Diamondbacks in a tough four-game series. Before today’s game, they designated one pitcher for assignment. They recalled a new acquisition from Triple-A ahead of tonight’s game with the Marlins.

J.P. Feyereisen

The Dodgers have recalled right-hand pitcher J.P. Feyereisen from Triple-A today. Feyereisen has pitched in two games already this season for the Arizona Diamondbacks. Arizona designated him for assignment on April 27th. He was picked up by the Dodgers and assigned to the Oklahoma City Comets on May 1st. Feyereisen pitched two innings for the Diamondbacks over two games. He suffered one loss and has a 9.00 ERA in Arizona. In 2024 Feyereisen pitched in 10 games for the Dodgers. He recorded one loss and had an 8.18 ERA. Over 11 innings pitched Feyereisen recorded one save, allowed 11 hits, 10 runs, three home runs, and struck out nine.

Yoendrys Gomes

The Dodgers announced they have designated Yoendrys Gomes for assignment before today’s game with the Marlins. He has pitched in nine games for the Dodgers this year with one win and win loss. Gomez has a 6.28 ERA in 14.1 innings this year for the Dodgers. Gomez recorded 11 strikeouts and a 1.81 WHIP over those nine games. There is a chance that no one will claim him and he ends up back in Oklahoma City.
