Detroit Tigers Roster Moves 7/26

Detroit Tigers Roster Transactions | Inside The Diamonds

The Detroit Tigers are coming off a series split with the Cleveland Guardians and now will take on the Minnesota Twins this weekend. The Tigers in July are 13-7 and currently sit 11 games back of the American League Central division lead, however with this recent stretch they are 5.5 back of the Kansas City Royals and 6.5 back of the Twins in the wild-card chase. They aren’t exactly out of it but with the trade deadline coming they do have some questions to answer following this weekend. Today they suffered a tough break ahead of tonight’s game as Riley Greene lands on the 10-day injured list with a hamstring strain and the corresponding move they have recalled Ryan Vilade from Triple-A Toledo.
