Parker Meadows Returns from Injured List

Outfielder Parker Meadows rejoined the Tigers’ lineup after recovering from an arm injury. The Tigers expect Meadows to strengthen their outfield depth. His return adds versatility to the roster, allowing the team to strengthen its defensive and offensive capabilities. In eight rehab games, he hit .259 with a .949 OPS. He had a double, two triples, a home run, five RBI, seven runs scored, a stolen base, and six walks.

Justyn-Henry Malloy Optioned to Triple-A Toledo

In a corresponding move, infielder/outfielder Justyn-Henry Malloy has been optioned to Triple-A Toledo. Malloy, who had a solid spring training, will continue his development with the Mud Hens.
