Detroit Tigers Down on the Farm 5/13-5/19

The Detroit Tigers Triple-A affiliate the Toledo Mud Hens took on the Indianapolis Indians for six games and they split the series. Their Double-A affiliate the Erie SeaWolves took on the Harrisburg Senators and they split the series as well. The Tigers High-A affiliate the West Michigan Whitecaps took five of six from Peoria. The Single-A affiliate Lakeland also split their series with Fort Myers.

Detroit Tigers Top 10 Prospects Check-In

OF – Max Clark – Lakeland Flying Tigers

Clark went 5-20 with three RBI, four runs scored, three runs scored, and two stolen bases. He is hitting .250 with a .679 OPS; he has one home runs, 21 RBI, and 24 runs scored.

2B/3B – Colt Keith – Detroit Tigers

Keith will likely be entering his final week next week in the Top 10 and things will get updated. Last week though he went 5-14 with two RBI, four runs scored, and a walk. He is hitting .197 with a .479 OPS; he has 12 RBI, and 11 runs scored.

RHP – Jackson Jobe – Erie SeaWolves

Jobe is currently on the 7-day injured list. He is 0-1 with a 2.16 ERA, a 1.02 WHIP, and 24 strikeouts in 16.2 innings.

2B – Jace Jung – Toledo Mud Hens

Jung last week went 6-24 with two home runs, four RBI, three runs scored, and two walks. He is hitting .277 with a .907 OPS; he has eight home runs, 31 RBI, and 24 runs scored.

RHP – Wilmer Flores – Toledo Mud Hens

Flores is on the 7-day injured list. He is 2-2 in 13 appearances with a 6.04 ERA, a 1.84 WHIP, and 19 strikeouts in 22.1 innings.

RHP – Ty Madden – Toledo Mud Hens

Madden made his fourth start at Triple-A on Saturday suffering a loss going 1.2 innings giving up four runs on four hits; he walked one and didn’t record a strikeout. He is 0-1 with a 5.46 ERA, a 1.31 WHIP, and 37 strikeouts in 31.1 innings between Erie and Toledo.

OF – Justyn Henry Malloy – Toledo Mud Hens

Malloy last week went 4-14 with three doubles, a home run, five RBI, three runs scored, and six walks. He is hitting .273 with a .906 OPS; he has four home runs, 21 RBI, and 18 runs scored.

INF – Kevin McGonigle – Lakeland Flying Tigers

McGonigle had another great week and will climb the new rankings in a few weeks. He went 5-18 with a home run, three RBI, four runs scored, and four walks. He is hitting .303 with a .814 OPS; he has one home run, six RBI, and 11 runs scored.

C – Dillon Dingler – Toledo Mud Hens

Dingler in three games went 5-13 with an RBI, and two runs scored. He is hitting .267 with a .737 OPS; he has four home runs, 18 RBI, and 15 runs scored.

RHP – Keider Montero – Toledo Mud Hens

Montero got the ball on Thursday going 4.1 innings giving up four runs on seven hits; he walked one and struck out two. He is 0-1 with a 4.10 ERA, a 1.48 WHIP, and 30 strikeouts in 26.1 innings.
