The Erie Seawolves, the Double-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers clinched a playoff spot for the fourth consecutive season as they won the first half. Erie finished the first half 45-24 claiming the spot with a 1.5 game lead. The last three seasons the Seawolves have made the playoffs they’ve made it to the finals as well. They lost the first year and have won back-to-back title.
