Noelvi Marte

The Cincinnati Reds have placed Noelvi Marte on the 10-injured list retroactive to May 5th with a left oblique strain. Marte has played in 19 games this year for the Reds so far. He has 10 runs, 20 hits, four doubles, one triple, three home runs, 17 RBI, and four steals. Marte is hitting .294 with a .857 OPS on the year. He has impressed early this year. This is noteworthy after a disappointing 2024 campaign. That year, he played in just 66 games after suffering an 80-game suspension to start the year. Marte finished the year with a .210 batting average and a .549 OPS.

Rece Hinds

The Cincinnati Reds have recalled outfielder Rece Hinds from Triple-A today ahead of their game with the Braves. Hinds will make his 2025 season debut after being called up. In 2024 he played in 24 games for the Reds. Hinds came up last year and had an impressive 1.050 OPS with a .261 batting average in 2024. He hit four doubles and one triple. Hinds also hit five home runs and had 11 RBI during his time last year with the Reds. He will join the Reds. He wants to see if he can provide a spark. Hinds hopes for similar production as he had in his short stay last season.
