The Reds enter play tonight with an 18-18 record and losers of their last three games. They look to even the series tonight against the Braves. The Reds are four games back from the Chicago Cubs in the NL Central as play starts today. Ahead of game two of their series with the Braves, the Reds have announced a flurry of moves. They have placed one outfielder on the injured list. They sent a pitcher on a rehab assignment. The Reds shuffled two from Triple-A to the main roster. Additionally, they moved one back to Triple-A.

Tyler Callihan

The Cincinnati Reds have placed Callihan on the 10-day injured list with a left forearm fracture. Callihan broke his forearm last night during the game, colliding with the left field wall by the foul line. He has played in four games this year for the Reds. He has a .167 batting average and a .334 OP on the year.

Jacob Hurtubise

The Cincinnati Reds have recalled Hurtubise from Triple-A ahead of tonight’s game. Hurtubise will replace Callihan on the roster. He has played in nine games already this season for the Reds. Hurtubise has two runs, one hit, one walk, and a .143 average so far this year.

Lyon Richardson

The Cincinnati Reds have recalled the right-handed pitcher from Triple-A. Richardson has appeared in two games this year for the Reds already. He has pitched in four innings, allowing one hit, one run, one walk, and striking out two. He has a 2.25 ERA, a .083 batting average against, and a 0.50 WHIP this year.

Rhett Lowder

The Reds have sent right-hand pitcher Rhett Lowder on a rehab assignment to the Arizona Complex League Reds. Lowder will head to Arizona. He is starting his way back from the right forearm strain he suffered in Spring Training. He was first placed on the injured list on March 24th.

Yosver Zulueta

The Cincinnati Reds have optioned Zulueta to the Louisville Bats. Zulueta has pitched in two games this year for the Reds. He has a 3.86 ERA, a 0.43 WHIP and one strikeout on the year.
