Austin Hays

The Cincinnati Reds have announced that Austin Hays is on the 10-day injured list. He has a left hamstring strain retroactive to April 29th. Hays has already spent time on the injured list after being injured during spring training. He will return to the injured list as the Reds kick off May. Hays has played in 13 games for the Reds so far this year. He has 15 runs, 19 hits, three doubles, five home runs, and 13 RBI. Hays has a .365 batting average and a 1.143 OPS on the year. Hays has made a positive impact on the Reds lineup. This being his second trip to the injured list is alarming. Hopefully, this will not be a regular thing this year.

Tyler Stephenson

The Reds have announced they are activating Stephenson from the 10-day injured list ahead of their game tonight. Stephenson has yet to play for the Reds this year. He has played in eight games in Triple-A for the Louisville Bats during his rehab assignment. Stephenson has a .107 batting average and a .515 OPS during that time. He has one double, one home run, and two RBI with Louisville.
