Cincinnati Reds Down on the Farm 4/30-5/5

Checkin with the Top Ten Prospects

3B – Noelvi Marte – Suspended 80 Games

Marte is suspended for 80 games.

RHP – Rhett Lowder – Dayton Dragons

Lowder made one start this past series going six innings, he did earn the win. He gave up five hits, three earned runs, and struck out nine on the day. He will make his next start on Tuesday and again on Sunday in this next series against Lake County.

SS – Edwin Arroyo—out for the Year–Chattanooga Lookouts

Arroyo is out for the seaosn.

RHP – Connor Phillips – Louisville Bats

Phillips started one game this past week getting the win by pitching five innings. He allowed five hits, four earned runs, two home runs, two walks, and two strikeouts. He finished the outing with a 1.40 WHIP and a 7.20 ERA. He will make two starts in this series with the first coming Tuesday, May 7th, and then again on Sunday, May 12th.

RHP – Chase Petty– Chattanooga Lookouts

Petty started one game during the six-game series. He pitched five innings allowing two hits, no earned runs, two walks, three strikeouts, a 0.00 ERA, and a 0.80 WHIP on the day. His next should come Wednesday against the Tennessee Smokies.

3B – Cam Collier – Dayton Dragons

Cam Collier played in six games with 21 at-bats over the last seven days. He scored six runs, had eight hits, two doubles, one stolen base, and three RBIs. He ended the series slashing .381/.500/.476 and had a .976 OPS.

3B – Sal Stewart – Dayton Dragons

Stewart played in six games in the last seven days. He received 24 at-bats scoring three runs, on five hits, two RBIs, two walks, and six strikeouts, and slashed .208/.259/.250 with a .509 OPS on the series.

SS – Richardo Cabrera – Daytona Tortugas

Cabrera played in four games over the last seven days, He had 16 at-bats, two runs, two hits, one double, one RBI, one walk, and five strikeouts. He slashed .125/.176/.188 with a .977 OPS over the last seven days.

OF – Carlos Jorge – Dayton Dragons

Jorge played in four games over the last seven days. He had 17 at-bats, three runs scored, six hits, one double, one home run, three RBIs, one walk, and struck out four times. Over the last seven days, he slashed .353/.389/.588 with a .238 OPS.

RHP – Ty Floyd – Arizona Complex League

Floyd is on the 60-day IL.

The Week Ahead

Louisville Bats (AAA) (16-17)

The Triple-A Louisville Bats split the six-game series with the St. Paul Saints this past week the Triple-A affiliate of the Minnesota Twins. They will host the Indianapolis Indians this week the Triple-A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates and take on the number two ranked prospect by ITD Paul Skenes during the series.

The Lookouts played Montgomery Biscuits the Double-A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays last week and lost the series two games to four. They will host the Tennessee Smokies and the Chicago Cubs top prospects Cade Horton, Kevin Alcantara, Matt Shaw, James Triantos, and Moises Ballerestos.
