
The Chattanooga Lookouts are the Cincinnati Reds Double-A affiliate. They have clinched a playoff spot. This achievement comes as they won the first half of the season. Chattanooga finished the first half with a 38-28 record and won the first half by 1.5 games. Last season, the Lookouts won a total of 45 games and lost the other 90. The turnaround has been impressive. It should make the second half and the playoffs exciting for Lookouts and Reds fans. The future continues to improve for them!

Who is on the Chattanooga Lookouts
The Chattanooga Lookouts currently have the Reds’ third, fourth, and fifth-ranked prospects on the roster. Sal Stewart is ranked third. Cam Collier is fourth. Edwin Arroyo is ranked fifth, and all of them have been contributing. The team had for the Reds number one ranked prospect overall, Chase Burns, for eight starts this year. He was then moved up the Reds and made his debut this past Tuesday night against the Yankees. 11th-ranked Hector Rodriguez and 18th-ranked Ethan O’Donnell also play for the Lookouts.
Chattanooga Lookouts
Sal Stewart
Sal Stewart has played the majority of the year at third base for the Chattanooga Lookouts. He is second on the team with a .327 average, with 44 runs scored, and 13 steals so far this year. Stewart leads the team in doubles with 18. He is also tied for the lead in RBI with 37 on the year. He has hit ten home runs to go with a .878 OPS on the year.
Cam Collier
Collier has only played in eight games for the Chattanooga Lookouts this year, all at First base. Collier suffered an injury at the end of Spring Training and started the year on the 60-day injured list. Since returning to the team, he has a .444 average and a 1.090 OPS. He has two doubles and four RBI since returning to Double-A.
Edwin Arroyo
Arroyo has been the Lookouts’ shortstop this season after an injury cost him the year in 2024. In 55 games played this year, he has scored 28 runs. He hit nine doubles, one triple, and one home run. He also has 20 RBI. Arroyo has a .261 batting average and a .652 OPS on the year.
Chase Burns
The number one prospect in the Cincinnati Reds organization is advancing quickly. This has been the case since being drafted number two overall in the 2024 draft out of Wake Forest. In eight starts with the Chattanooga Lookouts, he recorded a 6-1 record. In 42 innings pitched, he had a 1.29 ERA, a 0.71 WHIP, and held opponents to a .177 average against. Most impressive, he walked four and struck out 55 during his time with the team.
Hector Rodriguez
Rodriguez leads the team with ten home runs and is tied for the lead with 37 RBI. The Outfielder has 13 doubles, three triples, and 50 runs scored. Rodriguez has a .316 batting average and a .894 OPS on the year.
Ethan O’donnell
O’Donnell has struggled at the plate this year, only hitting .198 with a .584 OPS. He does have five doubles, two triples, three home runs, and 22 RBI for the Chattanooga Lookouts. He has been playing center for the team and has used his speed to steal 10 bases on the season.
Ruben Ibarra
Ibarra has filled in at first base for Collier to start the year and has been providing power production. He has nine home runs and 36 RBI this year. He has ten doubles, a .222 batting average, and a .791 OPS this year.

Jose Franco
Franco leads the team in wins with seven this year in 12 starts. He has a 2.76 ERA in 58.2 innings pitched. Franco has struck out 66 and has recorded a 1.16 WHIP so far this season as well.
Jose Acuna
Acuna has been another important piece to the Chattanooga Lookouts’ success this year. With a 6-4 record through 13 starts this year. Acuna has a 2.73 ERA, a 1.23 WHIP, and has held opponents to a .213 batting average this year.
