The Chicago White Sox will aim to equalize the four game series today. They will play against the Boston Red Sox on Patriots Day. They came back from behind yesterday in the seventh inning to snap Boston’s four game winning streak. This morning, the White Sox announced three roster moves. They placed Chase Meidroth on the 10 day injured list.

Chase Meidroth

The White Sox have place second baseman Chase Meidroth on the 10 day injured list with right thumb inflammation. He has played nine games since being called for the White Sox. Meidroth has four runs, seven hits, one RBI, five walks, and one steal. He has a .269 batting average and a .656 OPS this year.

Martin Perez

The White Sox have transferred Left hand starting pitcher Martin Perez to the 60 day injured list. He was previously on the 15 day injured list with left elbow inflammation. Perez has made four starts for the White Sox this year with one win and one loss on the season. He has a 3.15 ERA and a 1.25 WHIP in 20 innings pitched.

Bobby Dalbec

The Chicago White Sox have selected the contract of first baseman Bobby Dalbec from the Charlotte Knights in Triple-A. Dalbec played in 37 games last season for the Boston Red Sox. He had six runs, two doubles, one home run, and eight RBI. Dalbec finished with a .133 batting average and a .410 OPS. He has played in 12 games so far this year with Charlotte. Dalbec has nine runs, three doubles, one triple, four home runs, and 13 RBI. He has a .326 batting average in Triple-A right now.
