Chicago White Sox Roster Transactions | Inside The Diamonds

The Chicago White Sox lost last evening’s game by one run against the Guardians, dropping their record to 2-9. They left last night’s game, losing two players from their everyday lineup. Kory Lee and Mike Tauchman will not be playing. Both players have been placed on the injured list after last night’s tight game.

Kory Lee – C

The White Sox have placed Lee on the 10-day injured list with a left ankle sprain. Lee has played in nine games so far for the White Sox in 2025. He has a.333 batting average, three runs scored, five hits, two doubles, one RBI, and a .879 OPS.

Mike Tauchman – RF

The White Sox have placed Tauchman on the 10-day injured list. He has a right hamstring injury. The injury was suffered last night at the end of the game. Tauchman has played in three games for the White Sox this year. Andrew Benintendi is on the injured list, so Tauchman’s playing time was set to increase. However, now he will join Benintendi on the IL. He has a .400 batting average and a .900 OPS so far this year.

Juan Carela – RHP

The White Sox have released Carela today ahead of the series finale with the Guardians. The Birmingham Barons placed him on the full-season injured list on March 23rd. Today, the Chicago White Sox organization has released him completely.

Joshua Palacios – RF

The White Sox have selected the contract of Palacios from the Charlotte Knights. He has played in five games so far in Triple-A with a .231 batting average and a .729 OPS. Palacios has one double, one RBI, and scored one run this year. He last played for the Pittsburgh Pirates in the big leagues in 2024 for 23 games.

Omar Narvaez – C

The White Sox have selected the contract of Narvaez today. He comes from the Birmingham Barons. This move is ahead of today’s game with the Guardians. Narvaez was signed by the White Sox back on April 1st to a minor league contract. This year, for the Birmingham Barons, he has a .250 batting average in three games played. Narvaez has one double and two RBI on the year. He last played in the majors with the New York Mets in 2024 for 28 games.
