Chicago Cubs Spring Breakout Roster Revealed

The Chicago Cubs will host the Chicago White Sox on March 15th in the Inaugural Spring Breakout that will feature a seven-inning game for the top prospects from each team. Teams will be showcasing 20-25 of their top prospects for fans to see them all together from all levels of play.

The Chicago Cubs have been showing the fans a lot of Owen Cassie, Matt Shaw, and Kevin Alcantara this spring so far along with the likes of Michael Busch and Pete Crow-Armstrong both of whom will not play in the spring breakout allowing other top prospects like Hayden McGeary, Jefferson Rojas, Brennan Davis, and Christian Franklin to show what they have to offer in the future. The game will be exciting as they are paired up against cross-town rivals the Chicago White Sox. The Cubs have a promising collection of prospects, I am excited to watch Cade Horton pitch along with Drey Gray.
