The 2024 All-Star Game Roster has been announced and the Boston Red Sox have three representatives going in outfielder Jarren Duran, third baseman Rafael Devers, and RHP Tanner Houck. The game will take place on July 16th at 8:00 PM EST.
OF – Jarren Duran
Duran is a first-time All-Star and this season has played in every game for the Red Sox with a slash line of .278/.339/.478 with a .817 OPS; he has 24 doubles (5th in MLB), ten triples (1st in MLB), ten home runs, 40 RBI, 59 runs scored (10th in MLB), 21 stolen bases (7th in MLB), 32 walks, a 122 wRC+ and is a 3.4 WAR (11th in MLB).
3B – Rafael Devers
Devers is making his third All-Star appearance. This season in 76 games he has a slash line of .287/.373/.570 with a .943 OPS (8th in MLB), he has 16 doubles, four triples, 19 home runs (11th in MLB), 53 RBI (26th in MLB), 54 runs scored (21st in MLB), two stolen bases, 40 walks (21st in MLB), a 150 wRC+ (14th in MLB), and is a 2.9 WAR (17th in MLB).
RHP – Tanner Houck
Houck is making his first All-Star appearance and it comes after speculation of him being in the bullpen this season but as a starts he’s made 18 starts going 7-6 with a 2.68 ERA (6th in MLB), a 2.68 FIP, a 1.05 WHIP (17th in MLB), and 106 strikeouts (21st in MLB) in 111 innings (9th in MLB).
