Since Chaim Bloom took over as the head of baseball operations, his main goal has been rebuilding the Red Sox farm system. While winning a World Series is also high on the list, Bloom has prioritized building a sustainable system compared to Don Dombrowski, who sold the farm to win a World Series right away. Both approaches have pros and cons, as Bloom’s requires patience and has done a great job of accomplishing it.
