The Red Sox won the first game on Friday 3-2 behind Chris Sale, going five innings and striking out five. They would lose Saturday’s game 1-0 despite Nick Pivetta going seven innings giving up just three hits and striking out seven; the Red Sox offense couldn’t get going against Dylan Cease.
