They won game one last night 3-1. “Tonight, right-handed pitcher Walker Buehler will start on the mound after the team activated him from the injured list. Buehler is facing right-handed pitcher Clay Holmes for the Mets. To allow Buehler to be activated, the Red Sox have optioned reliever Nick Burdi to Triple-A Worcester. Buehler in six starts is 4-1 with a 4.28 ERA, a 4.29 FIP, a 1.22 WHIP, and 29 strikeouts in 33.2 innings. Burdi had two scoreless appearances with the Red Sox, going 2.1 innings, giving up four hits. He walked one and struck out one.
