Red Sox Roster Transactions | Inside The Diamonds

The Boston Red Sox are coming off a great win over the Los Angeles Angels last night 8-6. It was a roller coaster game that saw the Red Sox almost lose their young centerfielder Ceddanne Rafaela after he got hit by a pitch on the hand but he stayed in the game. Then later on they lost their shortstop Trevor Story to an injury that they were awaiting the results of the extent. Tonight they take on the Angels for the second game of the series with Garrett Whitlock on the mound taking on Reid Detmers. Before tonight’s game, they announced that Story was placed on the ten-day injured list with a dislocated shoulder and they recalled David Hamilton from Triple-A Worcester
