The Pirates are acquiring outfielder Jhostnyxon Garcia and right-handed pitcher Jesus Travieso from the Red Sox. Garcia is the 85th overall prospect in baseball.

Johan Oviedo
Oviedo made nine starts this season for the Pirates going 2-1 with a 3.57 ERA, a 4.92 FIP, a 1.22 WHIP, and 42 strikeouts in 40.1 innings. In the minors across four levels, he made eight starts going 1-2 with a 3.12 ERA, a 1.04 WHIP, and 36 strikeouts in 26 innings.
Tyler Samaniego
