Atlanta Braves Roster Transactions | Inside The Diamonds

The Atlanta Braves started a three-game series against the Chicago Cubs last night. The Braves lost the first game of the series 7-6 in ten innings. Ahead of today’s middle game with the Cubs, the Braves announced a flurry of roster moves. The Braves selected infielder Ha-Seong Kim and placed outfielder Jurickson Profar on the paternity list. They also selected Hayden Harris from Triple-A Gwinnett. To make room for Harris, they optioned right-handed pitcher Hunter Stratton to Gwinnett. To also make room on the 40-man roster for Harris, the Braves designated Wander Suero for assignment.

Ha-Seong Kim

Kim, this season, appeared in 24 games for the Tampa Bay Rays, hitting .214 with a .612 OPS. He had three doubles, two home runs, five RBI, five runs scored, six stolen bases, and eight walks. In 21 games for Triple-A Durham, he hit .214 with a .612 OPS. He had three doubles, six RBI, 11 runs scored, six stolen bases, and 15 walks.

Jurickson Profar

Profar, in 58 games this season, is hitting .258 with a .834 OPS. He has 12 doubles, a triple, 12 home runs, 37 RBI, 44 runs scored, eight stolen bases, and 35 walks. In 13 games at Triple-A Gwinnett, he hit .333 with a .990 OPS. He had three doubles, three home runs, nine RBI, seven runs scored, and eight walks.

Hayden Harris

Harris this season appeared in 39 games between Double-A Columbus and Triple-A Gwinnett. He went 6-0 with a 0.56 ERA, a 0.73 WHIP, and 73 strikeouts in 48 innings. He also pitched in the Futures Game, going 0.1 innings, recording a strikeout.

Hunter Stratton

Stratton this season in six games for the Braves is 0-1 with a 1.86 ERA, a 1.24 WHIP, and seven strikeouts in 9.2 innings. In eight games between Double-A Columbus and Triple-A Gwinnett, he is 1-1 with a 0.87 ERA, a 0.77 WHIP, and 12 strikeouts in 10.1 innings. He also appeared in three games for the Pittsburgh Pirates, posting a 23.63 ERA, a 4.50 WHIP, and a strikeout in 2.2 innings.

Wander Suero
