Atlanta Braves Roster Transactions | Inside The Diamonds

The Atlanta Braves today start a series with the Chicago Cubs. The calendars have officially flipped to the final month of the 2025 season, and with that, rosters have also expanded. Each team set its roster at 28 players. Teams can’t have more than 14 pitchers. Today, the Braves recalled right-handed pitcher Rolddy Muñoz from Triple-A Gwinnett and reinstated infielder Luke Williams from the 10-day injured list.

Rolddy Muñoz

Muñoz in 37 appearances between Double-A Columbus and Triple-A Gwinnett went 3-3. He posted a 2.75 ERA, a 1.29 WHIP, and 51 strikeouts in 55.2 innings. The 25-year-old reliever is in his sixth season in the Braves system and will make his debut when he appears for Atlanta. He is the Braves 18th 18th-ranked prospect and their 12th-ranked pitching prospect in the system. 

Luke Williams 

Williams in 35 games this season for Atlanta hit .103 with a .329 OPS. He had two doubles, five RBI, five runs scored, four stolen bases, and a walk. In 20 games at Triple-A, he hit .132 with a .350 OPS. He had a double, two RBI, four runs scored, three stolen bases, and seven walks. He’s been out since August 8th with an oblique strain.
