
The Atlanta Braves today play a doubleheader against the Miami Marlins as part of their five-game series. Due to today being a doubleheader the roster expands to 27. The Braves made a flurry of roster moves first activating third baseman Vidal Bruján whom they claimed off waivers from the Baltimore Orioles. They also recalled right-handed pitcher Hurston Waldrep fro Triple-A Gwinnett. Waldrep will start game one of the doubleheader. The Braves also recalled right-handed pitcher Hunter Stratton from Triple-A Gwinnett. To make room on the roster they optioned shortstop Jonathan Ornelas and left-handed pitcher Dylan Dodd to Gwinnett.

Vidal Bruján
