Corbin Burnes

The Arizona Diamondbacks have placed right-hand pitcher Corbin Burnes on the 15-day injured list. The team reports that he is suffering from right elbow inflammation. Burnes was this off-season big signing for the Diamondbacks. He has made 11 starts this year and has a 3-2 record with a 2.66 ERA. Burnes took himself out of the game in his last start on June 1st against the Washington Nationals. He was visibly upset and can see him claiming that his elbow was blown. For now, it appears Arizona might have dodged a bullet. The hope is that it is truly just an inflammation of the elbow.

Tommy Henry

The Arizona Diamondbacks have recalled left-hand pitcher Tommy Henry from Triple-A ahead of their game with Atlanta. Henry has made one appearance this year for Arizona. He pitched two and two-thirds innings allowing one hit, hit one batter, and struck out one. This year for the Reno Aces in Triple-A, Henry has made ten starts. He has a 2-5 record with a 7.39 ERA. Henry has pitched in 52 and 1-third innings this year in Triple-A. Henry has allowed a .319 batting average against and a 1.66 WHIP this year.
