Two Philadelphia Phillies Named to Futures Game

The Philadelphia Phillies will have two representatives at the Futures Game which is scheduled to take place on July 13th at 4:15 PM EST in Arlington, Texas. The two representatives are both in the Top 100 for ITD as Aidan Miller will go and he will be joined by Justin Crawford.

3B – Aidan Miller

Miller is the 47th-ranked prospect by ITD. Miller was drafted by the Phillies in the first round with the 27th overall pick in the 2023 MLB Draft. Last season, in his first season he played in 20 games hitting .303 with a .804 OPS; he had three doubles, one triple, two RBI, ten runs scored, 12 walks, and four stolen bases. This season he’s played at High-A and Single-A, he’s played in 56 games hitting .245 with a .794 OPS; he has 18 doubles, one triple, six home runs, 31 RBI, 32 runs scored, 35 walks, and 13 stolen bases. Right now he’s playing at High-A Jersey Shore playing in 17 games hitting .175 with a .574 OPS; he has two doubles, one triple, one home run, five RBI, four runs scored, nine walks, and three stolen bases.

OF – Justin Crawford

Crawford is the 61st-ranked prospect by ITD. He was drafted with the 17th overall pick in the 2022 MLB Draft. He’s played in 166 games hitting .307 with a .794 OPS; he has 35 doubles, 12 triples, eight home runs, 103 RBI, 120 runs scored, 57 walks, and 81 stolen bases. This season at High-A Jersey Shore he’s played in 63 games hitting .287 (9th in South Atlantic League) with a .748 OPS; he has 13 doubles (T-22nd in South Atlantic League), three triples (T-12th in South Atlantic League), five home runs, 34 RBI (T-21st in South Atlantic League), 41 runs scored (11th in South Atlantic League), 18 walks, and 24 stolen bases (8th in South Atlantic League).
