This morning, the two teams agreed to a trade as Toronto traded outfielder Will Robertson to the White Sox in exchange for cash considerations. Robertson, in three games this season in Toronto, hit .100 with a .350 OPS. He had an RBI and a walk. In 62 games at Triple-A, he hit .292 with a .982 OPS. He had 11 doubles, a triple, 14 home runs, 44 RBI, 39 runs scored, a stolen base, and 36 walks. Robertson was designated for assignment yesterday to make room for reliever Ryan Burr.

The Blue Jays drafted Robertson in the fourth round of the 2019 MLB Draft. In six seasons in the Blue Jays system, he hit .245 with a .784 OPS. He had 107 doubles, nine triples, 79 home runs, 282 RBI, 279 runs scored, 18 stolen bases, and 206 walks. Robertson spent all of last season at Triple-A Buffalo, appearing in 119 games, hitting .226 with a .748 OPS. He had 23 doubles, a triple, 19 home runs, 71 RBI, 64 runs scored, three stolen bases, and 50 walks.
