Probable Starting Pitchers

New York Yankees vs. Athletics

Game 1: Will Warren (1-2, 5.65 ERA) vs. Osvaldo Bido (2-2, 4.71 ERA)

Warren has struggled, surrendering five runs—three of them earned—on seven hits and three walks over just 4.2 innings. Friday’s start carries more weight than usual, especially with Yankee farmhand Allan Winans making noise in Triple-A. On the other side, Bido is coming off a rough outing of his own, allowing four runs on three hits over five innings against the Marlins.

Game 2: Carlos Rodón (4-3, 2.96 ERA) vs. JP Sears (4-2, 2.93 ERA)

Rodón has become a strong stretch for the lefty. In fact, in his last outing, He delivered 6.2 innings against the Padres, leaving the game with a 3–0 lead. Although early-season questions lingered, Rodón has responded with consistency and command over his last several starts. Meanwhile, Sears will get the ball. The former Yankee farmhand has been a bright spot in an otherwise dismal rotation, posting a 2.93 ERA across his last six starts. However, he’ll face a Yankees lineup that has been heating up against left-handed pitching.

Game 3: TBD vs. Luis Severino (1-3, 3.62 ERA)

The Yankees have yet to announce a starter. Across the diamond, the Athletics will hand the ball to Severino, who continues to search for stability after an inconsistent start to the season. In his most recent appearance, Severino allowed four runs over six innings against the Mariners, flashing velocity but struggling with command.
