Gregory Santos
Santos came to the Mariners before last year and was projected to be a high-leverage arm. The Mariners had hopes of him being a strong seventh or eighth inning guy, but he had an injury-plagued season in 2024. Last season, Santos had a 4.91 ERA through 7.1 innings. He also had six strikeouts. Fast forward to this season, and while Santos has been healthy, he has been stumbling through his eight relief appearances. He currently has a 5.14 ERA through 7.1 innings. He’s given up four earned runs, 8 hits, and 8 walks. He has yet to record a strikeout this season.
Will Klein
The Mariners acquired Klein from the Athletics. This season, he has made seven relief appearances for Tacoma. He is 1-0 with a 12.79 ERA through 6.1 innings. Klein made his MLB debut last season when he appeared for both the Kansas City Royals and the Athletics. He appeared in 7.1 innings and posted a 1-0 record with an 11.05 ERA,
