Seattle Mariners Roster Transactions | Inside The Diamonds

The Seattle Mariners beat the Milwaukee Brewers yesterday 4-2 in Cactus League play. They face off against the Los Angeles Angels this afternoon, before the game, they made a flurry of roster moves. The rosters for Opening Day are getting close to being finalized as time winds down this spring training.

SS – James Parker

James Parker was assigned to the Mariners roster this afternoon, Parker was Drafted by the Mariners in the 8th round of the 2021 draft. In 2022 he appeared in 3 Spring Training games for the Mariners getting 1 at-bat getting one hit, scoring one run, and driving in one run. In 2023 Parker played in one Spring training game only. Parker spent all of 2023 with the Mariners minors team Everett Aquasoxs in the North Western League. He played in 79 games where he slashed .226/.328/.456 with an OPS of .784. He added 15 home runs, 37 RBIs, and 13 doubles last year at A ball.

OF – Colin Davis

Davis was assigned to the Mariners roster this afternoon ahead of the game with the Angels. Davis was Drafted in the 7th round of the 2021 MLB Draft by the Mariners. He appeared in one game Spring Training game without a registered at-bat in 2022. In 2023 Davis played in three spring training games, getting two at-bats recording one hit and one strikeout. Davis finished his 2023 regular season with the Everett Aquasoxs in the Northwest League. Davis slashed .214/.291/.329 during 21 games.

2B – Robbie Tenerowicz

Tenerowicz was assigned to the Mariners roster this after as well. Tenerowics has appeared in 13 spring training games over four years with the Tampa Bay Rays, Cincinnati Reds, and last year with the Mariners. During those games, he’s gone 3-14 with one run scored and one RBI. Tenerowicz spent the 2023 season split between Double and Triple-A for the Mariners last year. He combined to slash .282/.391/.451 last season between the two teams. He added 19 home runs, 26 Doubles, and 101 RBIs in the minors last year.
