Nick Frasso was born in Torrance, California, on October 18, 1998. He played high school baseball at Palos Verdes Peninsula High School in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA. He was not ranked at the time of ending his high school career. At Rancho Palos Verdes in his senior year, he held opposing teams to one run or less in seven of his nine starts, which also included a two-hitter as well as a no-hitter which clinched the Bay League Championship. He also played basketball during his time in high school. He committed to play college baseball at Loyola Marymount University.

In Frasso’s first season at Loyola Marymount, he made 16 appearances with eight coming as starts going 4-4 with a 3.15 ERA, a 1.15 WHIP, and 74 strikeouts in 60 innings. In 2019 his second season he made 19 appearances with five coming as starts going 2-2 with a 2.22 ERA, a 0.83 WHIP, and 73 strikeouts in 56.2 innings. In the summer of 2019, he played in the Cape Cod Baseball League for Orleans appearing in two games going 1-0 with a 0.00 ERA, a 0.00 WHIP, and one strikeout in two innings. In 2020 before the college season was shut down he made two starts going 0-1 with a 4.15 ERA, a 1.73 WHIPP, and 11 strikeouts in 8.2 innings.

2021
Frasso’s first season he pitched at Single-A Dunedin making three appearances with two coming as starts going 0-0 with a 0.00 ERA, a 1.00 WHIP, and eight strikeouts in five innings.
2022
Frasso started the season with Toronto where he played for at Single-A Dunedin and High-A Vancouver but was traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers where he pitched at High-A Great Lakes and Double-A Tulsa. He made 16 starts going 0-0 with a 1.83 ERA, a 0.93 WHIP, and 76 strikeouts in 54 innings.
2023
Frasso last season pitched at Double-A Tulsa and Triple-A Oklahoma City making 25 starts going 4-6 with a 3.77 ERA, a 1.27 WHIP, and 107 strikeouts in 93 innings.
Future
ITD ranks Frasso as the 78th overall prospect and the Dodgers second-ranked prospect. He is expected to start the season at Triple-A in 2024.
