James Triantos was born in Fairfax, VA on January 29th, 2003. James played high school baseball at James Madison High School in Vienna, Virginia. He was the top-ranked shortstop and overall player in Virginia in 2021. Triantos in his senior season hit .712 only striking out twice, he hit 11 home runs and had 27 RBI. On the mound he made eight starts going 8-0 with a 0.85 ERA, a 0.56 WHIP, and 58 strikeouts in 41.1 innings. Triantos was the 21st-ranked shortstop in the country and the 88th overall player. He committed to play college baseball at the University of North Carolina.
