Picks of the Day, 4/30

Can Hunter Renfroe go all-in on a Mike Trout impression today? Mark J Rebilas-USA Today

Betting on baseball when half the country is cold and wet is a pain in the ass. Strider was rained out in NY, Toronto won, and unfortunately the Pirates and Nats came up one run short for my over. 1-1 yesterday with a voided bet.
This is the last Sunday I’ll do picks. I’ll be playing actual baseball Sunday mornings.

44-39 on the season. Let’s have a Sunday Fun-day:
Pick #1
Reds @ A’s, Total runs Over 8.5, +105
Nick Lodolo has allowed 14 runs in his last two starts. Waldichulk allows 5 runs almost every time he takes the mound. Not sure why the line is +105, but I’ll take it.
Pick #2
SF @ SD, Alex Cobb to allow 1st earned run, +150
The game in Mexico City was wild yesterday, as I predicted. Today’s O/U is 20.5, so there will be runs. I just need Yu Darvish to have a clean top of the first and this bet will hit. There could be more than 11 home runs today with the pitchers being more HR prone than yesterday’s, and the game starting 2 hours earlier. From what I hear, the balls are being kept in a “non-Colorado” humidor, which means they are essentially juiced. There were 27 runs yesterday, 20.5 line may be too low.
Pick # 3
KC @ Twins, Sonny Gray to record a win, +140
Gray has been one of the best 3 pitchers in baseball (Strider and Gallen), and has only allowed 2 runs this year in 5 starts. I cant imagine the Royals and Brady Singer can win today.
Reach
Hunter Renfroe to hit a home run, +360
Trout’s Doppleganger is leading the Angels in home runs, yet has half the odds to hit one today.
