Picks of the Day, 4/27

Can Brett Baty get off the schneid tonight against the Nats?

Another day, another slate of great picks. I went 2-1 yesterday AND the Bo Bichette Home Run at +600 hit. I’ve done incredibly well, on the “player X to hit a home run” props. Zac Gallen to record a win is free money at this point, and the Angels took care of business against the A’s. The Dodgers however pulled a no-show in Pittsburgh. I’ve been avoiding Dodgers bets because we have no idea what this team is yet, so my bad for thinking they would slow down Pittsburgh. The Pirates continue to surprise, and I keep expecting the other shoe to drop, but it hasn’t. I’ll stay away from betting against the Pirates for a bit.

42-34 on the season, I’m a little late today, so I’m focusing on later games.
Pick #1
Shohei Ohtani to record Over 18.5 outs, +110
Angels -1.5 runs is at -135, Ohtani to win is at -160. The return isn’t good enough for me, so I opted for the option where I make some money and Shohei pitches at least one out past the 6th inning.
Pick #2
Cardinals @ Giants, Total Runs Over 8.5, -115
Logan Webb hasn’t been great, Miles Mikolas has been awful. Both bullpens are pretty bad, and the Cards offense has been average, but could explode any day.
Pick #3
Rays @ White Sox, Total Runs Under 7, +100
McClanahan and Dylan Cease squared off last week in Tampa, and there were 7 runs recorded in an extra innings game. Cease came out after 4 having allowed 3 runs. It’s in Chicago today and the temps will obviously be colder, as will the bats.
Reach
Judge is +200 to hit a home run off lefty Andrew Heaney and the Rangers in Texas. But that’s hardly a reach. The pick is Brett Baty to hit his first of the year against the Nats at +650
