Picks of the Day, 4/19

Flame throwing Mason Miller makes his debut today for the A's. He may be the real deal, but after only 28 MiLB innings, is he ready to beat the Cubs today? Melissa Lockard- The Athletic

1-2 yesterday, 26-27 on the season. It appears my hot streak is over. Had the twin -.5 through 5 innings and of course Chris Sale had his best start since 2019. And, missed the over in NY by a run because the Yankees bats couldn’t get to Angels legend, Jose Saurez.

Happy Hump Day:
Pick #1
Drew Rasmussen to record a win vs Reds, +105
Really like the Rays -1.5, but the line is -140. Rasmussen will go 5 and the Reds starter is making his MLB debut and was struggling in AAA.
Pick #2
Cubs -1.5 Run Line @ A’s, +105 Justin Steele has been excellent thus far, and it appears my book is assuming that prospect Mason Miller is going to be Spenser Strider. Kid throws 100 and looks legit, however , he wont go past 5 innings today. +105 is hard to pass up.
Pick #3
Rangers -1.5 Run Line @ Royals, +160
Brady Singer gives up runs in bunches. Martin Perez continues to overachieve. +160 was taunting me.
Reach
4 pack of afternoon games: Phillies, Rangers, Guardians, and Rays Moneylines, +737
