Weston Wilson
The Phillies have activated outfielder Weston Wilson from the 10 day injured list. This occurred ahead of their series finales with the New York Mets. Wilson has been sidelined with a left oblique injury. During his rehab assignments he played in 10 games between Single-A with Clearwater and Lehigh Valley in Triple-A. During rehab, he had a combined nine runs, six hits, one double, one triple, two RBI, and one steal. Wilson had a .158 batting average and a .541 OPS. He will be called up for his season debut.
Kody Clemens
The Phillies have designated the second baseman for assignment ahead of today’s game. Clemens has not had much of an offensive impact on the team this year. In seven games he had only six at-bats without recording a hit and only taking one walk. His struggles continued from his 2024 season. Last year he played in 44 games with a .219 batting average and a .705 OPS on the year. Clemens had 17 runs, 25 hits, nine doubles, and one triple last year. He also hit five home runs and had 18 RBI. Additionally, he struck out 29 times.
