After a tumultuous 82-80 season that saw the Yankees finishing fourth in the AL East standings, Yankee fans have been waiting patiently for the hammer to drop on players who are not in the plans for the 2024 season.

On Nov. 2, 2024, the Yankees placed six players on outright waivers, as reported by Joel Sherman of the New York Post. The players listed are eligible to either be claimed or elect free agency.
