The Mets have a 20-9 record and a four-and-a-half-game lead over the second-place Philadelphia Phillies entering play today. The New York Mets have announced four roster moves ahead of tonight’s match-up. The Mets were busy for sure, signing one free agent. They designated one pitcher for assignment. They called up a right-hand pitcher from Triple-A. Unfortunately, they shifted one pitcher from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day injured list.

Sean Manaea

The New York Mets have made a roster change. Sean Manaea has been transferred from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day injured list. This change was made today ahead of the game tonight. Manaea has been out since the end of spring training. A right oblique strain has sidelined him. He has yet to pitch this season for the Mets.

Jose Urena

The New York Mets have designated right-hand pitcher Jose Urena for assignment following his performance last night against the Nationals. Urena pitched three innings earning the save, but allowed seven hits, five earned runs, one walk, and struck out three.

Brooks Raley

The New York Mets have signed free agent left-hand pitcher Brooks Raley today. Raley appeared in eight games last season for the Mets. He had one win through seven innings of work. Raley had a 0.00 ERA, a 0.71 WHIP, and nine strikeouts last season for the Mets.

Kevin Herget

The New York Mets have recalled right-hand pitcher Kevin Herget from Triple-A ahead of tonight’s game against Arizona. He has pitched in nine games for the Syracuse Mets so far this season. Herget has one win in 9.2 innings of work this year. Herget has a 3.72 ERA, a 1.45 WHIP, and a .308 average against in Triple-A.
