Probable Starting Pitchers

New York Mets vs. St. Louis Cardinals

Game 1: Clay Holmes (3-1, 2.64 ERA) vs. Sonny Gray (3-0, 3.60 ERA)

Holmes will start game one for the Mets. Homes beat the Nationals the last time out. He pitched five innings allowed four hits and struck out two. Gray will go for the Cardinals. Gray pitched six innings last time out. He allowed seven hits, three runs, and three walks. Gray struck out four in a no-decision against the Brewers last start.

Game 2: Tylor Megill (3-2, 1.74 ERA) vs. Erick Fedde (1-3, 4.68 ERA)

Megill will start game two for the Mets. In his last start, he failed to factor into the decision against the Nationals. He pitched 6.1 innings allowing three hits, three runs, one walk, and struck out nine. Fedde will get the start for the Cardinals. He lost last time out against the Brewers. Game 3: TBD vs. Andre Pallante (2-2, 4.13 ERA)

The Mets have yet to name a starter for the series finale. Pallante will get the start for the Cardinals. He took the last time out against the Reds. He pitched six innings allowed six hit, three runs, two walks, one home run, and struck out four.
