Probable Starting Pitchers

Game 1: J.T. Ginn (1-0, 1.69 ERA) vs. Freddy Peralta (1-1, 2.31 ERA)

Ginn will start game one for the Athletics. He beat the Mets in his first start of the year last Saturday. He pitched 5.1 innings allowing five hits, one runs, two walks, and struck out six. Peralta will get the start for the Brewers. Last time out he pitched 5.1 innings allowing four hits, two runs, four walks, and struck out six in a no decision against the Diamondbacks.

Game 2: Luis Severino (0-3, 4.01 ERA) vs. Chad Patrick (1-0, 1.76 ERA)

Severino will start game two for the Athletics. He lost his last start against the Mets. He pitched 5.2 innings allowing four hits, one run, three walks, and striking out six. Patrick will get the start for Milwaukee. He pitched 4.1 innings allowing five hits, no runs, two walks, and struck out three in the no decision.

Game 3: Jeffrey Springs (3-1, 4.50 ERA) vs. Tyler Alexander (1-1, 4.32 ERA)

Springs will close out the series for the Athletics. He beat the White Sox last time on the mound. He pitched five innings allowing three hits, three runs, three walks, and struck out four. Alexander will go for the Brewers. He took the loss last time out against the Tigers. He pitched four innings allowing six hits, four earned runs, eight total runs, three walks, and struck out two.

Athletics

Tyler Soderstrom has been crushing the ball early and often this season. Soderstrom leads the Athletics in home runs with nine and in RBIs with 18. He has 17 runs, 23 hits, two doubles, a .315 batting average, and a 1.095 OPS. He did not face the Brewers last season. Soderstrom has already surpassed last year’s home run total from 61 games before finishing the month of April this year.

Milwaukee Brewers
