Minnesota Twins Roster Moves 10/23

Twins Roster Transactions | Inside The Diamonds

The Minnesota Twins season ended when they lost their ALDS series to the Houston Astros 3-1. It was a solid 2023 season for the Twins, though, as they won the American League Central with an 87-75 record and they won their first playoff series since 2002, sweeping the Toronto Blue Jays in the Wild Card series two games to none; they also snapped an 18 game playoff losing streak when they beat the Blue Jays in game one of that series. With their season being over, it’s time to focus on making the team better in 2024, and today, they made some roster cuts as they work to do so. Today, outfielder Jordan Luplow elected free agency after being outrighted off the 40-man roster. Outfielder Andrew Stevenson and RHP Jose De Leon elected free agency after they were outrighted last week.
