The Brewers look to even the series tonight when they take on Detroit. They took on on the chin last night, losing 9-1 in the series opener. Milwaukee currently has an 8-9 record on the year and sits in fourth place in the NL Central. While the Brewers prepare for game two of the series, they have announced two roster moves before tonight’s game. Elvin Rodriguez has been sent to Triple-A. Logan Henderson will make his big league debut if he is called upon. The Brewers continue to try different strategies to get the best pitching staff. They have been dealing with a mix of injuries within the staff. The Brewers will host the Athletics after their series against the Tigers.

Elvin Rodriguez – RHP

The Milwaukee Brewers have optioned Rodriguez to Triple-A, where he will continue his 2025 season with the Nashville Sounds. Rodriguez has made two starts and pitched in a total of four games for the Brewers this season. He has two losses on the season in 14.1 innings pitched. Rodriguez allowed a 7.53 ERA, a 1.40 WHIP, and a .305 batting average against this season.

Logan Henderson – RHP

The Brewers have recalled Henderson from Triple-A before tonight’s game with the Tigers. Henderson has made three starts for Nashville this year. He has a 2-1 record with a 3.21 ERA and a 1.36 WHIP. Henderson has pitched in 14 innings, allowing a .184 batting average against this season. He will be set to make his major league debut if he gets called to the mound during the series.
