Miami Marlins Roster Transactions | Inside The Diamonds

The Miami Marlins today suffered a loss to the Houston Astros 9-1 to bring their record to 6-8-3. Tomorrow they will take on the Washington Nationals and they will send Eury Perez to the mound, he is making his fourth start of the spring and is 1-1 with a 1-1 record a 3.52 ERA, a 1.04 WHIP, and ten strikeouts in 7.2 innings.

Marlins Roster Moves By The Numbers

Max Meyer

Meyer appeared in three games this spring going 0-0 with a 0.00 ERA, a 0.71 WHIP, and five strikeouts in seven innings.

Troy Johnston

Johnston played in seven games and hit .357 with a .801 OPS; he had RBI and one run scored. 

Jhonny Perada

Perada in six games hit .000 with a .143 OPS; he had one RBI. Perada last season with the Reds and at Triple-A Louisville he hit .325 with an .873 OPS; he had six home runs and 36 RBI. 

Jose Devers

Devers in ten games hit .000 with a. .125 OPS; he had one walk.

Griffin Conine

Conine in 12 games hit .222 with a .722 OPS; he had two doubles, a home run, three RBI, and one run scored. 

Marty Costes

Costes in ten games hit .250 with a .666 OPS; he had one double, one RBI, three runs scored, and a stolen base. Costes last season with the Houston Astros played at Triple-A and in 53 games he hit .252 with a .755 OPS; he had two home runs, and 19 RBI. 

Jonathan Davis 

Davis played in seven games and he hit .244 with a .685 OPS; he had two runs scored. Davis spent time with the Tigers Triple-A affiliate the Toledo Mud Hens before joining the Marlins. With the Marlins in 34 games he hit .244 with a .685 OPS; he had two home runs and ten RBI.
