Los Angeles Dodgers Roster Moves 4/9/2025

The Los Angeles Dodgers are in the middle of their series finale against the Washington Nationals. The Dodgers are trying to avoid being swept by the Nationals, they’ve been outscored 14-6 so far this series entering today. Before the game today, they optioned left-handed pitcher Justin Wrobleski to Triple-A Oklahoma City and recalled right-handed pitcher Landon Knack. Wrobleski had a rough outing last night as he went five innings, giving up eight runs on eight hits; he walked three and struck out four. Wrobleski also made one start at Oklahoma City this season, going 5.2 shutout innings, giving up three hits; he walked two and struck out three.

Knack in one appearance with the Dodgers this season got the win, going two shutout innings, giving up one hit; he didn’t issue a walk and struck out three. In one appearance at Oklahoma City this season, he went 4.2 innings, giving up two runs on five hits; he walked two and struck out five.

Justin Wrobleski

Wrobleski has been in the Dodgers system for four seasons, appearing in 59 games with 52 of those coming as starts, going 11-11 with a 3.20 ERA, a 1.24 WHIP, and 242 strikeouts in 225.1 innings. Last season, he pitched at Double-A and Triple-A, making 20 appearances with 18 of those coming as starts, going 6-4 with a 3.76 ERA, a 1.28 WHIP, and 104 strikeouts in 95.2 innings. He also made eight appearances, with six of those coming as starts for the Dodgers, going 1-2 with a 5.70 ERA, a 1.38 WHIP, and 26 strikeouts in 36.1 innings.

Landon Knack  

Knack has spent five seasons in the Dodgers system, making 70 appearances, with 62 of those coming as starts. He is 18-15 with a 3.48 ERA, a 1.19 WHIP, and 345 strikeouts in 300 innings. Last season, in 14 games at Oklahoma City with 12 of those coming as starts, he went 4-3 with a 3.71 ERA, a 1.27 WHIP, and 79 strikeouts in 68 innings. Last season with the Dodgers, he made 15 appearances, with 12 of those coming as starts. He went 3-5 with a 3.65 ERA, a 1.10 WHIP, and 69 strikeouts in 69 innings.
