The Detroit Tigers are climbing their way to a potential playoff spot as they will wrap up their series against the Colorado Rockies today and with a win they’ll secure a series sweep and sit 2.5 games back of the final playoff spot heading into a huge series this weekend against the Baltimore Orioles a team they have six games over the next ten days and those games could be what gets the Tigers in the postseason or eliminates them. The Tigers did however get a boost today to their lineup that has produced 27 runs in their last three games as they get Wenceel Perez back and the corresponding move in Ryan Kreidler being sent down to Triple-A Toledo.
