The Detroit Tigers will begin a three-game series with the Washington Nationals tonight. The Tigers will have Kenta Maeda on the mound going up against Mitchell Parker tonight. The Tigers are coming off a tough series loss to the Brewers dropping two out of the three games but got a dominant performance from Tarik Skubal to avoid being swept. Ahead of tonight’s game, the Tigers announced they have placed shortstop Javier Baez on the injured list with back inflammation and have recalled shortstop Ryan Kriedler.
