The Chicago White Sox this weekend snapped their 14-game losing streak as they split their four-game series with the Boston Red Sox winning the two middle games. They had their chance today but couldn’t get the job done as the Red Sox tied it in the ninth and scored two runs in the tenth to pick up the 6-4 win. After the game White Sox manager Pedro Grifol announced that they would be calling up the 55th overall prospect by ITD RHP Drew Thorpe from Double-A Birmingham to make his big league debut likely Tuesday in their series against the Seattle Mariners. The move comes after the White Sox optioned RHP Nick Nastrini to Triple-A Charlotte following his start against the Red Sox on Saturday.
