Boston Red Sox Starting Pitcher Likely Done for Season

The Boston Red Sox today will look to avoid being swept by the Los Angeles Angels. They’ve fallen under .500 once again, now on a four-game losing streak. It’s been a tough season in Boston. They lost first baseman Triston Casas for the season. Then Alex Bregman went down after suffering an injury. Almost two weeks ago, they traded Rafael Devers to the San Francisco Giants. Today, Alex Cora told Newsday some important news. Right-handed pitcher Kutter Crawford is undergoing surgery on his right wrist. This surgery will “most likely” end his season. Crawford, originally out as he recovered from right patellar soreness, will now have wrist surgery.
